People today are shaped by different environmental influences. One of them is the omnipresent air pollution, which increases the number of respiratory diseases. Many harmful substances burden our lungs and promote the spread of serious illnesses. One goal of this project is to make the suffering of the sick person as pleasant as possible, since many people are not able to go outside anymore or do not dare to try.

Furthermore it is important to increase the usability and the wearing comfort of the portable oxygen concentrator. A self-explanatory interface leads to fewer errors and supports the user in unexpected emergencies.
Analysis.
In order to get a better overview of the existing products, a market research was conducted. This helped to position the future product better and revealed weaknesses of other products that could be improved.
From this research, important insights could be filtered out, which served as the basis for the further ideation process.

Implementation.
The ideation process started with fast scribbles to the following keynotes:
1. The oxygen concentrator must behave inconspicuously (in design and technology)
2. The product must be adapted to the daily user (interaction and comfort)
3. It has to adapt to different needs (modularity in use and structure)

After that, pre-models, CAD data and ultimately the final concept were created.

In order to create a suitable overall picture, a corporate identity with a logo, user manual, brochures and marketing material was created. The portable oxygen concentrator should be appealing for every age group and also take the user friendliness of all generations into account.
